Much of our time we spend thinking about the past.  What we have done what we would have liked to have done.  It’s in the past you can’t change it, nothing you can do about it.  The important point, you have learned very valuable lessons, they are there to help you in the present,  prepare for the future. Even if something that has happened in the past has been disastrous or even horrendous.  You have learned extremely valuable lessons, that will help you in whatever you are doing in the present and prepare you for your future

Much of your time you are probably thinking about the future.  Thinking what is going to happen, worrying, being concerned how you can cope with it.  When you are relaxed and comfortable in the present, the emotions of the past has gone, the future will look after its self.   Also if you are being bullied or intimidated, your positive body language will radiate out, people will leave you alone or just back off.  You will be amazed how your positive body language radiates out, with remarkable effects.

It’s impossible to have your mind totally in the present.  It’s only natural for you mind will wander.   Some people their minds will wonder more than others.

In fact letting your mind wonder into the future, may be day dreaming, is not a bad thing.  You are letting your imagination wonder and thinking about your goals.

It’s   very useful to have a technique to help you stay in the present and remain there for longer periods.  Also helps you enjoy the present, because that is the place you are in and ever will be in.  So enjoy it and appreciate it.

Where ever you are, inside or outside, day or night, it doesn’t matter, either sitting or standing.  First close your eyes slow your breathing down,  just listen.  What sounds can you hear?, spend a little time, may be you will pick up more sounds different sounds.  Where are they coming from? what meaning they may have.  Spend a little time doing just that.

Open your eyes and focus on everything around you.  May be objects in the   distance, then things closer to you.  Spend time doing just that, observing, you will probably notice things that you have not noticed before. You will think, why haven’t done more of this, you will be fascinated at the results.

The big plus you will be more conscious in the present and you will be getting valuable information for the future.  This will take the anxiety out or the future, you can then make more positive plans for the future.

Remember the present is the only place you are in and ever will be in. Enjoy it, relax in it, the future will just fit into place.  Plus it will radiate positive body language.  Giving you the confidence. To be the person you want to be
