I have had incredible success with clients struggling with marijuana addiction. I know there are difficulties advertising to people with this particular addiction on Google. Still, few people realize just how easy it is to become addicted to marijuana.

The fact was proved to me only today by a lady I had initially helped quit smoking. She contacted me a year later, struggling with marijuana addiction.

To start smoking is usually straightforward; they try to be the same as most friends. They probably don’t like the first cigarettes, but they persevere, and soon it becomes an addiction.

The same can as marijuana; people begin using it to fit in with their peers, and before long, they find themselves addicted. With the right help, however, it is possible to break free from this cycle of addiction.

What to Know about Marijuana Addiction

Marijuana addiction is more involved than other types of addiction. There is usually something in the addict’s life that has created an obsession.

What has happened in the past is not the problem; it is the negative effect that has been created. I have to help the addicts discover what it is and then remove the negative emotion created.

It can be many things. In this lady’s situation, it went back to her childhood. She gave me an excellent review that is quite lengthy. You can check her review on my website under the marijuana section.

The Reason for Very Few Marijuana Clients Revealed

The lady asked why I had so few clients quit marijuana. “The person with the addiction doesn’t usually want to give up. They get stoned and go into their little world of oblivion; they are happy. The people around them, usually their family, want them to stop.”

While this may be true sometimes, it is not always the whole story. In many instances, the addicts are well aware of the negative consequences of their addiction and desperately want to quit but find themselves unable to break the habit.

In these cases, it is often the support of family and friends that makes all the difference. By offering encouragement and understanding, loved ones can help addicts take the first steps toward recovery.

Only yesterday, a lady rang me to make an appointment for her husband to quit marijuana. I asked if he wanted to give up; if he didn’t want to stop, it would be pointless and a waste of time. She assured me he did and made the appointment for 1:00 pm the following day.

An hour before the scheduled consultation, she texted me; he was stoned, and he was not coming. She couldn’t put up with his addiction any longer and was up and leaving him to go to her parents.

Sometimes, the addicts don’t want to give up; the people around them who have to put up with their addiction want them to give up. I can only help people who want to be helped.
