Stress and anxiety are widely acknowledged as the major contributors. And, as you may already have read, this is an area where I certainly can help.

What makes teeth grinding a real problem is the fact that it’s mostly done at night, when you have no conscious control over your habit and are more-or-less oblivious to pain. According to orthodontic experts, you are six times more likely to cause damage, some of it fairly serious, while sleeping.

Many resort to mouth guards, which certainly can take the pressure off your teeth and gums. However, they’re treating the symptom and not the cause. Hypnosis, on the other hand, can get to the source of the stressors and help you change the way they affect you.

Many of my clients have found my relaxation through hypnosis CDs to be extremely helpful. Quite apart from the fact that they could listen to them as many times as they wanted to (for a one-off cost), they could put them on just before they went to sleep. The timing is perfect, because that is when both the subconscious mind and the habitual response of teeth grinding comes into play.
